Damage Loss Surveys & Consultancy
The damage loss survey is designed to provide underwriters with on site assistance to mitigate losses and provide the detailed information to establish cause of loss, incident review, estimates of repair costs, etc.
When engaged by underwriters or their agents we can provide the following services:
- Attend loss site for evaluation of distressed vessel and advise on the most prudent course of action with salvage.
- Review incident reports, meet/interview parties concerned to establish cause of loss.
- Review and assist with resolution of salvage invoices.
- Provide detailed damage assessments after the vessel / property has been secured.
- Review repair contractors cost estimates and provide expert opinion thereon.
- Attend loss vessel during the repair project for documentation and quality control of the restoration work.
- Monitor repair project progress versus cost, provide expert opinions regarding “fair and reasonable” costs.
- Produce final reports on conclusion of loss and / or the restoration work.

Damage Inspection - Third Party
We provide third party loss damage inspections for boat owners / operators / interested third parties after incidents to document related damages and estimates of restoration cost.
