The Valuation Survey is designed to collect enough information on the asset to determine its estimated market value at the time of survey. The surveyor will inspect the vessel and provide an expert valuation opinion considering all relevant factors including distressed sale conditions, repair costs and market conditions. All valuations will be backed up with references to global valuation databases such as BUCValuPro and historical sales databases such as Soldboats.com as well as comparable current listings. The surveyor will also assess the market conditions for the asset and may make adjustments based on desirability in this market.
